Hey, Satanta, your holiday help is needed!
The Satanta Community Foundation has taken on the task of providing gifts for children (ages birth through high school) in need in the Satanta Community. We need additional gift givers to join our campaign to ensure that every child in our community knows the joy of Christmas.
The sign-up sheet for this project will be at the Dudley Township Public Library, Satanta, beginning Thursday, November 30.
As part of this program, children 5th grade and younger receive gifts from their donors. Students in 6th grade and up receive school spirit clothing items. (A monetary donation of $30 is made for these older kids.)
Karen Burrows is heading up the project and will be happy to answer any questions you might have, including sizes for clothing and ideas for toys and books that are popular this holiday season.
Kindly complete your gift giving by bringing your gift (preferably in a gift sack) to Satanta Grade School by December 8.
