Update: The Angel Tree list has been moved to the Dudley Township Library. The gift-giving deadline has been set for December 13.
The Satanta Christmas Angel Campaign is underway! There are opportunities to provide gifts for 25 children from birth through fifth grade and donations towards Satanta shirts for students in grades 6-12. These shirts were purchased from SHS freshman class in an effort to double the impact of our gifts.
Karen Burrows of the Satanta Community Foundation is the primary organizer of this campaign. Sign-up sheets for giving will make the rounds at Satanta Grade School before being moved to the high school and eventually the Dudley Township Library. There is no reason, however, to chase the clipboard around town. For your convenience, you may call or text Karen at 620-649-7166 or send her an email at
kburrows@usd507.org to inquire about gift-giving and/or donations.
As a reminder to all donors, gifts are to be placed in gift sacks and dropped off at Satanta Grade School at your earliest convenience. A deadline for gift delivery is pending. Checks ($30 per youths in grades 6-12) may be made out to the Satanta Community Foundation and either dropped off at the grade school or mailed to PO Box 74, Satanta, KS 67870.
