Calling all seamstresses: join us for Cases for a Cause, Tuesday, January 21st at 6:30 at the Satanta Community Building.
Susan Heddlesten will be teaching how to make a pillowcase to share with our friends at the LTCU. (If time allows you may make a pillowcase for yourself if you'd like.)
Open to any age and experience level. Makes for great Community Service and/or 4H projects.
There will be two pillowcase patterns available to choose from: a simple pillowcase and a cuffed one.
The simple one will simply need one yard of novelty fabric.
The cuffed pillowcase will need:
3/4 yard for the main part (21" x 42")
1/8 yard for the accent (9" x 42")
3/8 yard for the cuff (12" x 42")
~ Please make sure fabrics are rewashed to eliminate shrinkage! ~
Other supplies to bring: thread (any color/ matching if you'd like), sewing machine (if available, please let us know if you'll need one, limited available), sewing notions (scissors, straight pins, riper)
